LUNA KILLS share LOWER and add new UK dates for 2026

“The lyrics of the song are about dealing with the feeling that you don’t belong anywhere. You feel the weight of not fitting into the expectations that society or others have placed upon you, or even the expectations you have for yourself.”

LUNA KILLS drop ‘LOWER’ and line up a fresh set of UK shows for 2026

LUNA KILLS have moved quickly on from last year’s DEATHMATCH with a new standalone single, LOWER, released through SharpTone Records. The Finnish alternative metal band have also expanded their 2026 live schedule, with a handful of UK dates now locked in alongside festival appearances and support slots across Europe.

The new track leans into the band’s heavier, electronically charged edge while keeping the emotional pressure front and centre. You can listen to ‘LOWER’ here.

LUNA KILLS – LOWER

A song built around dread and self-acceptance

Speaking about the single, the band said: “The lyrics of the song are about dealing with the feeling that you don’t belong anywhere. You feel the weight of not fitting into the expectations that society or others have placed upon you, or even the expectations you have for yourself.

“It makes you question your reality, and at the same time, you slowly begin to feel like you’re fading away piece by piece and turning into someone you don’t recognise. The song carries a theme – both in lyrics and music – about the contrast between the softness of accepting yourself and the world you have built around yourself and the crushing weight of a never leaving dread whispering whether you made the right choices.”

LOWER arrives after a busy run around DEATHMATCH, which pushed tracks including WAVES, LEECH, sugar rush, slay ur enemies and love u into the band’s live set and further sharpened their mix of modern metal, pop instinct and digital abrasion.

Festival stops and a return to UK rooms

The newly announced dates stretch from summer festivals into a longer autumn run supporting Future Palace, with a separate London stop supporting Vianova in August. For UK fans, that means club shows in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Leeds, plus an appearance at RADAR Festival.
