Haywire sign to Roadrunner Records and announce I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye

Haywire’s new record was tracked between Leeds and Toledo, bringing together a tight three-month recording stretch with friends, collaborators and members of NOTHING and The Aggrolites.

Haywire unveil I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye as Roadrunner Records signing is confirmed

Boston hardcore outfit Haywire have signed to Roadrunner Records and announced their second full-length album, I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye, due for release on 2 October.

The announcement arrives alongside the record’s first single, Interstate Love Affair, a bruising new track accompanied by a video directed by Luis Hernandez. The song is available to stream now, while the accompanying clip can be viewed via the band’s official channels.

Tracked between Leeds and Toledo

I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye was produced by Mat Kerekes of Citizen and mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Studio. The album was recorded across a three-month period between studios in Leeds and Toledo, Ohio.

The record follows Haywire’s 2024 debut full-length, CONDITIONED FOR DEMOLITION, and features contributions from members of NOTHING and The Aggrolites, alongside friends of the band including Aaron and Bruce.

The album is now available to pre-order and pre-save, with a selection of limited-edition coloured vinyl editions also being offered through the group’s store.

US dates include Turnstile and Circle Jerks supports

Haywire will spend September on the road in the US, including a support slot with Turnstile in Milwaukee and a run of dates alongside Circle Jerks. The itinerary also takes in appearances at Louder Than Life, Riot Fest, Aftershock, Furnace Fest, Sick New World and Vans Warped Tour.
