Black Stone Cherry Drops “Out Of Pocket” Featuring Jesse Leach from Killswitch Engage

Black Stone Cherry has teamed up with Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage for a powerful new version of their hit single, “Out Of Pocket.” The reimagined track showcases Leach’s signature intensity, adding a fresh edge to the anthemic song, just in time for the band’s upcoming headline tour across Europe and the UK.

“We have been fans of Killswitch Engage since we can remember,” the band shared. “Having Jesse be a part of one of our songs, bringing his intensity and passion, has truly made this a special moment in our sonic journey.”

Leach echoed the excitement, saying, “Being asked to jump on this track was such an honour and a pleasure. It’s a damn good rock ‘n’ roll song!”

A Celebrated Return to Europe and the UK

Following a successful U.S. tour alongside Clutch and Rival Sons, Black Stone Cherry is ready to bring their electrifying live show back to European shores. Their headline tour kicks off on October 29 in Berlin, Germany, and wraps up on November 23 at London’s OVO Arena Wembley. Joining them on the road are Ayron Jones and, for the UK dates, Skillet.

“Our beloved Cherry Heads in Europe, we have seen your comments and read all of your messages, which have kept us feelin’ fuzzy since the last time we saw you. With that said, it’s been too damn long, and we can’t wait to come back!” the band expressed.

A New Chapter with “Screamin’ At The Sky”

The new version of “Out Of Pocket” follows the release of Screamin’ At The Sky, an album written during the band’s touring stint and recorded in a unique setting—The Plaza Theater in their hometown of Glasgow, Kentucky. The album marks the first studio recordings featuring bassist Steve Jewell, who previously toured with the band.

Frontman Chris Robertson reflects on the track, saying, “‘Out Of Pocket’ is a song born out of that exact feeling…facing your demons, knowing that you have to come out the other side stronger than before.”

With Jesse Leach’s raw energy now woven into “Out Of Pocket,” Black Stone Cherry is poised to bring a fresh wave of rock ‘n’ roll to their devoted fans in Europe and the UK.
