Death Lens Return Louder, Leaner and Ready to Explode
Southern California punks Death Lens announce their new album What’s Left Now?, dropping 24th April 2026 via Epitaph Records. The announcement comes alongside the release of blistering new single and music video Monolith, which opens the album with a gut-punch of emotion and power.
It’s the band’s first full-length since 2024’s Cold World and their most explosive yet — 12 tracks of raw resilience, urgent guitars, and messages that cut to the core of everyday survival.
“Born With Stones in My Hands”
Monolith begins quietly — an acoustic guitar, lyrics sung in Spanish — before erupting into a furious wall of sound. Vocalist Bryan Torres calls it a reckoning with inherited struggle:
“It’s my revelation that the role life gives you isn’t the only one you have to play.”
It’s a song built for the underdog, and it sets the tone for an album shaped by upheaval, growth, and a hard-won unity.

Tested by the Road, Reforged by Fire
Following a nine-month tour in support of Cold World, the band faced internal tensions that led to lineup changes. Now, with guitar virtuoso Ernie Gutierrez added to the core trio of Torres, Jhon Reyes (guitar), and Tony Rangel (drums), Death Lens sound tighter and more dangerous than ever.
“Every time we feel like we’re gonna implode, we end up expanding,” Torres says. “We thrive on stress and the energy of anxiety.”
The album’s production, helmed by Zach Tuch (Knocked Loose, Touché Amoré), captures that energy in its most refined and raging form.
Punk with Purpose
On What’s Left Now?, Death Lens continue to fuse their sonic ferocity with sharp social commentary. “Saints in the Panic Room” tackles the reality of ICE raids and undocumented communities. Other tracks hit hard on personal fronts — Am I A Drug To You? explores breakup grief, while Out Of My Skin delves into uncomfortable truths and identity.
“Our messaging is towards those who always feel like they don’t have a voice,” says Torres.
