Knocked Loose and Denzel Curry Shatter Boundaries with Hive Mind

“We wondered if we could pull it off… it had to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it.” — Bryan Garris

Knocked Loose has unveiled Hive Mind, a punishing new single featuring none other than genre-defying rapper Denzel Curry. With this explosive collaboration, the hardcore titans team up with one of modern rap’s most fearless voices, blurring lines between mosh pit and mic drop. The track is accompanied by a gritty music video, co-directed by vocalist Bryan Garris and Eric Richter, filmed at Louisville’s legendary David Armstrong Extreme Park.

“In the very beginning, we said for it to work, it would have to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it.” — Bryan Garris

Hardcore Meets Hip-Hop on Hive Mind

This isn’t Curry’s first dive into heavy music—his 2019 cover of “Bulls on Parade” proved his metal mettle—but Hive Mind marks a full-throttle dive into Knocked Loose’s chaotic world. The results are visceral, violent, and weirdly perfect. Curry’s verses don’t just hold their own—they elevate the breakdowns to nuclear levels.

The track follows Knocked Loose’s critically acclaimed 2024 album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, which earned rave reviews from Pitchfork, GQ, and The Guardian, among others. That record included the Grammy-nominated single “Suffocate” featuring Poppy, cementing the band’s place in the upper echelons of modern heavy music.

Catch Them Live with Metallica and More

Knocked Loose isn’t slowing down. This year they’ll storm Las Vegas and Dallas for Sick New World festivals, while also opening for Metallica across Europe. U.K. fans will get their fix with appearances at Slam Dunk Festival and massive stadium shows in Glasgow, Cardiff, and London.
