Des Moines-based noiseniks VENDED have unleashed their latest single, ‘Nihilism,’ available for streaming and download as of today, May 7th Listen/save here. This track promises to amplify the already high-octane energy that the band has been known for, following their previous hits like ‘The Far Side’ and ‘Am I The Only One,’ the latter having already gathered over half a million views on YouTube.
About the Single: VENDED describes ‘Nihilism’ as a continuation and evolution of their musical journey, emphasizing a philosophy of fearless self-expression. “This song represents the momentum for what’s to come, continuing with the energy from our last single. It brings that same energy and pushes the limit even more. The whole meaning of the track is to not fear what doesn’t really matter, so do what YOU want and not what you think will hold you back,” the band explains.
The single follows their debut EP, ‘What Is It / Kill It,’ which debuted to international acclaim in late 2021. As 2024 unfolds, VENDED’s trajectory only climbs steeper, highlighted by their recent announcement as the opening act for SLIPKNOT’s ‘Here Comes The Pain’ 25th Anniversary tour. This tour will culminate in a significant performance at KNOTFEST IOWA, right in their hometown of Des Moines, at Waterworks Park on September 21st.
