Death Lens Drop Rousing New Single “Power” via Epitaph
Los Angeles punks Death Lens are back with “Power” — a high-octane, emotionally charged track that marks their first release since 2024’s Cold World. Out now on Epitaph Records, the single packs a wallop with jagged guitar hooks, urgent vocals, and a surge of defiance that nods to both personal and collective struggle.

Premiering alongside a kinetic video directed by Marco Hernandez, “Power” also makes its way onto the soundtrack of the forthcoming Skate video game, keeping Death Lens firmly in the cultural bloodstream of youth rebellion.
Fresh off tour with Militarie Gun, the band takes their melodic punk, hardwired with social consciousness, into even more anthemic territory. Frontman Bryan Torres delivers an impassioned statement behind the track:
“We can’t let time dictate our choices or our purpose. The world has never waited for anyone, so we stopped waiting too. That’s POWER.”
Skate Anthems and SoCal Burnout
“Power” picks up where Cold World left off — tackling issues like burnout, disillusionment, and perseverance without losing the bite that’s come to define their sound. Though raised on party punk, Death Lens have sharpened their perspective with every release, channeling the realities of living in a hyper-policed America and a fractured world.
Musically, the track is brisk and bold, tailor-made for a basement show or a late-night skate session. It’s the band’s sonic call to action — a burst of solidarity for anyone feeling stuck or spun out.
