Every Hell announce The People’s Republic Of Hell EP with new single and UK dates

Every Hell have announced their new EP, The People’s Republic Of Hell, which is set for release on Friday 26 June.

The Brighton/Bristol band have also shared a new single, Bane Of The Bear, alongside a video for the track. The song pushes into darker, more technical post-hardcore territory, driven by a galloping central riff and a lyrical focus that vocalist Will Gardner says was sparked by the story of Gisèle Pelicot.

Gardner says: “The song is about the depths of human depravity. I was particularly disturbed and moved by the heroism of Gisèle Pelicot. Her story just really shocked me and made me want to write about her courage to bring her evil husband and the men of the village to justice.”

A darker, more technical turn

Speaking about how Bane Of The Bear came together, Gardner points to guitarist Toby Stewart bringing in the song’s main guitar line during a rehearsal in Worthing.

He says: “Bane Of The Bear is one of the first songs we wrote where I feel Toby’s writing really came to bear fruit. We were at our friends’ rehearsal studio in Worthing and Toby came in really excited with the main guitar line for the song. We all loved it, and basically the whole song came together in about an hour.

BANE OF THE BEAR SINGLE ARTWORK

“It really felt like the next evolution of the band, moving into a dark, more technical, post-hardcore kind of mood that we had all been really craving to get our teeth into. I think this song is one of the standouts on the EP and really makes a statement of intent for the upcoming full release and beyond into 2027.”
