RØRY Takes Aim At British Repression With Kids These Days

“Kids these days are getting diagnosed with ADHD, going to therapy, and talking about their feelings. That is not how it’s done.”

RØRY Announces The Kids These Days Party

RØRY has unveiled a brilliantly barbed new chapter with the formation of The Kids These Days Party, a satirical movement built to “stop hope” and defend the grand old British tradition of bottling everything up until it becomes everyone else’s problem.

Arriving alongside the announcement is new single ‘Kids These Days’, billed as the party’s official anthem. The track takes aim at generational panic, emotional repression, therapy culture, and the apparently terrifying rise of young people talking about their feelings.

A Party Political Broadcast For The Emotionally Unavailable

The campaign’s first official political broadcast is set to air on St George’s Day, leaning fully into RØRY’s sharp, self-aware sense of humour.

Speaking on the movement, RØRY says:

“Kids these days are getting diagnosed with ADHD, going to therapy, and talking about their feelings. That is not how it’s done. This is GREAT BRITAIN. We suppress things here. It’s time someone did something about it.”

Download Festival 2026 Main Stage Slot

RØRY is also set to perform on the main stage at Download Festival 2026 on the Sunday, joining a huge bill that includes Linkin Park, Bad Omens, Ice Nine Kills and more.

Following the success of her UK Top 10 debut album RESTORATION, sold-out shows, festival appearances, and a Best UK Breakthrough Artist win at the Heavy Music Awards, RØRY continues to prove that rock’s most vital voices do not always arrive early. Sometimes, they arrive fully armed and ready to set fire to the rulebook.
