“Three nights, a fresh set every night, and I get to stay in London, one of my favorite cities in the world, for a week. That’s the Best of All Worlds!”

Sammy Hagar reshapes his long-awaited UK return

Sammy Hagar has revised the UK leg of his Best Of All Worlds Tour, swapping in a new run of more intimate, high-spec venues for July 2026 and adding a three-night stay in London at the soon-to-open British Airways ARC.

It is a notable change for a tour that already carried weight. Hagar has not toured the UK since 1996, and this return arrives with a set built to span the full sweep of his career, from solo staples to Montrose cuts and a particularly deep dive into his Van Halen years. Now, with the routing updated, the shows promise a tighter, more immersive setting to match the scale of the material.

A tour reworked around atmosphere and sound

The rethink was inspired by the success of Hagar’s recent Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live, where advanced sound and immersive production helped reshape the feel of the live show. Rather than going bigger, Hagar has chosen to go closer, leaning into venues that can bring the audience into the performance rather than keeping it at arm’s length.

That shift has also opened the door for a standout London residency, with Hagar and his band among the first names set to headline British Airways ARC across three nights.

The lineup remains a hard-rock fantasy draft. Hagar is joined by fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Michael Anthony, guitar heavyweight Joe Satriani, and veteran powerhouse Kenny Aronoff, with the Best Of All Worlds band built to do justice to one of classic rock’s most stacked songbooks.

Van Halen classics return to UK stages

For many fans, the biggest draw will be the Van Halen material. Hagar’s set is expected to feature songs including “Why Can’t This Be Love,” “5150,” “Best Of Both Worlds,” and “I Can’t Drive 55,” alongside highlights from elsewhere in his catalogue.

It also marks the first time Hagar has performed Van Halen classics in the UK since those Wembley Stadium shows three decades ago. That alone gives these dates the feel of an event rather than a routine tour stop.

In Hagar’s telling, the revised run is about getting the experience right after such a long absence. After 30 years away, he is clearly not interested in simply showing up and cashing in on nostalgia. The new format suggests a show designed to feel vivid and present, not museum-like.

Presale for original ticket holders

Fans who bought tickets for the original UK dates will be contacted directly and offered priority presale access for the revised shows, along with a 10 per cent merchandise offer on show nights.

General sale begins at 10am on Friday 24 April via AEG Presents.
