Black Sabbath Reunite for ‘Back to the Beginning’ at Villa Park
Ozzy’s Final Performance Set for Historic Homecoming Show
Metalheads, brace yourselves—Black Sabbath are back for one night only. The original lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—will reunite for the first time in 20 years to headline ‘Back to the Beginning’ on 5th July 2025 at Villa Park, Birmingham. This monumental event will mark Ozzy Osbourne’s final-ever live performance, bringing his legendary career full circle in the city that birthed heavy metal.
“It’s my time to go back to the beginning,” Ozzy said. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”
A Lineup Fit for Metal Royalty
‘Back to the Beginning’ isn’t just a farewell—it’s a celebration of metal’s greatest icons. Alongside Black Sabbath, the all-day festival will feature an all-star lineup, including:

And that’s not all—a supergroup of rock and metal legends will also take the stage, with names like Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan, Jonathan Davis (Korn), Slash, Zakk Wylde, and Tom Morello among those confirmed. More names will be announced in the coming weeks.
